Anhand der bildhauerischen Auseinandersetzung von Johanna Knöpfle mit dem Mythos von Eris, der Göttin der Zwietracht erwuchs die Idee einer Fotoserie, die das Erscheinungsbild – laut dem Mythos ein verschrumpeltes Wesen, das nach und nach zu einer eindrucksvollen Erscheinung heranwächst – abbildet.
Durch die Zusammenarbeit mit bildenden Künstler*innen entstehen oft Photographien, die inszeniert sind und den Prozess, als auch den Blick auf die künstlerische Umsetzung eines Themas erlauben.
